The Quadripartite partners for One Health emphasized implementation, evidence, and investment at the ninth World One Health Congress in Lisbon from September 4 to 7. The organizations—the Food and Agriculture Organization, UN Environment Programme, WHO, and World Organisation for Animal Health—discussed how intersectoral action can improve the connected health of people, animals, plants, and ecosystems. They called for stronger country-level implementation, scientific evidence, and sustainable financing so that One Health commitments produce practical outcomes rather than remaining limited to isolated projects or pilot programs.
